Noir Des Carmes Heirloom - Melon Seed
80 days. 20 Seeds. Noir Des Carmes is a rare, beautiful heirloom from France that dates back to the 1700s. Carmelite monks preserved this melon and once called it "Black Rock", probably because it has a very dark green skin which is black before maturity. This variety is very easy to grow, very productive, and produces the most luxurious of melons that weigh about 3-6 lbs. each. When ripe, the color becomes mostly orange with hints of green. The flesh is orange, sweet and aromatic. An absolute must try! Seedling starter plant. FREE SHIPPING!
