Thyme Heirloom Certified- Herb Seed
12-18 days to germination. 100 seeds. Thyme is a beautiful, winter-hardy perennial herb that is often grown as a specimen plant as well. These small 6-12” tall plants produce branches of small and delicate greenish-silver aromatic leaves which add a rich flavor to many dishes. Its leaves are often used in French and Italian dishes, and are wonderful in salads, soups, stews, sauces, poultry, fish and more. Thyme also has medicinal qualities and is used to treat sore throats and cough, and can be used in tea and massage oil. It is a perennial in zones 4-10, if mulched for winter protection in zone 4, and can be grown as an annual elsewhere. FREE SHIPPING!
