Serrano Heirloom Pepper Seed
75 to 80 days. 20 seeds. The Serrano pepper is one of my favorites to use in salsa recipes, as it brings just the right amount of spice to the mix. This variety is a vigorous producer of 2-1/2 to 4" fruit with fairly thin walls that starts out green and matures to a beautiful bright red color if left on the vine long enough, and they are about 5 times spicier and hotter than jalapeno peppers! They are perfect for home gardens, and perhaps because the name "Serrano" means "from the mountains," this variety will grow well even in colder climates provided they still get plenty of sunlight. Open pollinated seeds. FREE SHIPPING!
