50 days. 150 seeds. The Schweitzer’s Mescher Bibb Lettuce dates back to the 1700’s and is an Austrian descent which was introduced to the US in the early 1900’s. This lettuce has beautiful lime green leaves dappled with a tinge of red. It is comparatively small but has an attractive appearance and an exquisite taste. It is best grown in cold climates.
