Parris Island Cos Heirloom Certified-Lettuce Seed
70 days. 600 seeds. Parris Island Cos has become an increasingly popular romaine lettuce variety since its introduction in 1952. It is heat-tolerant and is medium to slow to bolt, and it offers resistance to both mosaic and tipburn. This tall, erect lettuce variety produces uniform heads that are 10 to 12-inches with dark green, slightly-savoyed leaves and a pale, creamy white colored heart. This particular variety has a great taste and a nice, crisp, crunchy texture and is the perfect lettuce for a Caesar salad. FREE SHIPPING!
