85 days. 20 seeds. This tomato was introduced by a famous seedsman Peter Henderson in 1981 and called it “Great 400”, after which it was changed to “Henderson’s Pink Ponderosa” via a naming contest. The plant has a moderate yield. The tomatoes are huge and can weigh over 2 pounds. They are meaty pink-red and is the preferred tomato for use in steaks. They have a mild sweet flavor with few seeds wrapped by thin reddish pink skin. Open pollinated seeds.
