Peanuts

HOW TO GROW PEANUTS:

Basically, you want to plant peanuts like you would potatoes, in loose, well-drained soil. However, peanuts require warmer soil conditions, so wait until your outside temperatures are 80 degrees for 10 days.

Then, remove the peanuts from the shells, plant 2 inches deep, one foot apart, in rows that are 3 feet apart.

Harvest when you notice yellowing on the outer leaves. At that point, dig up some peanuts and make sure they have filled in the shell and the inside of the shell is darkening. If so, then continue to harvest, dry and enjoy!

Roasting optional :)
